We were delighted to see the owner of etyres Huntingdon make an appearance on the ITV News last week, while taking part in a successful marketing event organised by Head Office.
Mark Jackson, who launched etyres Huntingdon in 2014, attended the two-day Cambridgeshire Young Driver Road Safety Event and not only received a great response from the students who attended, but also secured himself a prominent part in the ITV Anglia News coverage.
Just as importantly, although Mark himself was the first to admit, he didn’t sign up to the event to get orders, but to raise awareness of his service in the area, he also managed to make a number of good contacts and secure future business. As he puts it: “A win win situation!”
Mark, who won through to the finals of the 2015 Huntingdonshire Business awards, has shown strong commitment not only to customer service, but also to building brand awareness. He uses his initiative and is pro-active in going after new business.
With support from the Head Office team at the Young Drivers event, Mark was able to put on an engaging display, which was also a hit with the organisers, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Road Safety Partnership and other groups and companies taking part, including the police and the fire officers.
This is just one example of the kind of event etyres is keen to encourage Franchise Owners to get involved with in order to ensure their business is recognised in their area and generate sales.
From day one with etyres, all of our new etyres Franchise Owners benefit from a comprehensive training programme carried out both at our Head Office and in the field at a local branch, where you learn everything from the practical skills involved in running the business to how to complete a VAT return and local marketing tactics.
