The success of etyres Luton and etyres Milton Keynes has been built on the back of a strong partnership between its two owners, Alex Kapadia and Oliver Hall during the past 10 years.
Now these two mobile tyre fitting branches are set to continue their growth with a new team in the driving seat – and this time it is a close-knit family of four who are bringing all their skills and strengths to bear as the business continues to expand.
Proud parents Shirley North and her partner Eamon Kelly have teamed up with their son and daughter, Ray and Aeleshia to steer the mobile tyre fitting businesses to greater heights.
When Ray, 34, and Aeleshia, 26, who already own the Mann Motors garage in Leighton Buzzard, heard that etyres Milton Keynes was available they quickly seized the opportunity to strengthen their own business and expand their service by investing in a company that was already enjoying buoyant sales.
Ray explained: “We have worked with Alex and Oli for many years and I knew how good the etyres reputation was and that they had a loyal customer base. This, coupled with the fact I knew from experience that their tyre prices are always low which keeps customers coming back, meant it was a perfect fit for us. It also enabled us to offer a mobile tyre fitting service overnight, which we had already recognised is an important and growing market.”
Meanwhile Shirley and Eamon were also impressed with the etyres franchise formula and could also see the potential it had to offer. So, after lengthy family discussions, she opted to retire from her post as a school facilities manager and plunge into the automotive world by taking on neighbouring etyres Luton with Eamon.
Ray continued: “We are a close family and get on well, but we believe the fact we all have different strengths and skills to bring to the different areas of running the business will offer tremendous benefits.
“Although we are taking on the four current fitters and vans which are already covering the territories, we will all be making big contributions to every aspect of the business, from admin and accounts to marketing and of course, tyre fitting. It is important we all have our defined roles and this will help us build strategies to grow the business in all areas.
“We are not a family who like to take things easy, we all enjoy a challenge and we all want to build a business that will continue to go from strength to strength.
“etyres gives us the freedom to expand on what we have, but from day one we will hit the ground running with all the benefits of orders coming in and the support of the Head Office team behind us.”
