We are delighted that etyres Managing Director Tony Bowman has been invited to contribute a monthly column to the highly respected Elite Franchise magazine.
For his first article, which appeared in the February issue, Tony focused on the importance of building a franchise that inspires loyalty not just from customers, but crucially from within too, in the form of franchise owners who renew their contracts with the business and continue trading successfully year after year.
Under the headline “Committed franchisees make for a successful franchise”, Tony wrote: “This sort of commitment demonstrates that the franchisor is delivering a sound and sustainable business opportunity.”
etyres, the UK’s first online tyre retailer, is proud that the very first Franchise Owners to join etyres back in 1996 are celebrating their 20th anniversary with us.
Pam and Stuart Cass have continued to expand their business year on year and extended their Portsmouth branch by encompassing the Southampton territory too. Many other etyres Franchise Owners have renewed their agreements with us after the initial five years or handed ownership to other family members, secure in the knowledge that they are passing on a thriving business opportunity.
Tony continued: “I cannot stress enough that these are the kind of people you need to talk to if you are thinking about investing in a franchise – they will tell you how it is. The chances are that they have experienced the full range of highs and lows that befall all business owners, including the effects of an economic slump and the pressure of more competitors entering the market.”
