If anyone knows about the road to success it has to be Rob Jones. After 19 years working in the tarmac industry Rob realised he wanted more out of his work life and decided to take a new path.
Rob, 39, said: “I wanted to work for myself, but it had to be a business I believed in and that is when my dad mentioned etyres. He lives in Brentwood and has been an etyres customer for years and after visiting the Head Office and hearing more about the company I decided to take on the etyres Chelmsford branch.
“It was not because cars are my hobby or because I wanted to work outside, what was important to me was that it was a business which can survive in tough times and one that I could grow.”
Rob has the support of his partner Keeley, also 39, who is helping out with the admin side of the business, while also continuing her career as a fitness instructor.
On his first day operating as etyres Chelmsford, Rob fitted 11 tyres and his daily routine is now devoted to supplying and fitting tyres and batteries for customers and marketing his business.
