It was while Nick Mizen was training a new etyres Franchise Owner that he realised this was exactly the new challenge he wanted for himself.
“I met Del from Kettering as part of his training procedure and we had a few conversations about etyres that really sowed the seeds of interest for me starting my own etyres franchise,” he explained.
Nick started his working life as a mechanic, attending college and later working for a fast fit company, before moving into the training and assessing business. His work involved lots of travelling and time away from home, and Nick realised he wanted more control over his life.
“An etyres franchise seemed to fit what I was looking for from all points of view,” Nick, 44, added. “It was an industry I felt comfortable in and I wanted to reap the benefits of my own hard work.”
His wife Kerry, 42, who has worked as a personal tutor for 20 years, is also joining him in actively running the etyres East Sussex branch. Nick said: “She will be responsible for the admin side of the business and we will share the marketing role.”
The husband-and-wife team are looking forward to working together and raising awareness of the etyres brand in the East Sussex area.
