Do I need to have any experience?

Previous tyre fitting or business management experience is an advantage, however full training is provided to cover the skills required for an etyres franchise. Practical training takes place at a local branch and the following weeks business management training is given at Head Office. This training covers accounts, business planning, IT, marketing and sales.

Does the franchise fee include the van?

The franchise fee does not include the van.

Do I need to purchase the tools myself?

etyres will order all tools required, and arrange for them to be fitted in the van before you start training.

There is no territory available in my area, what are my options?

Occasionally we have resale opportunities available, if you are not looking to relocate we can keep your details on record and let you know if an opportunity arises in your area. If you are willing to relocate, we have available territories nationwide.

How long does the process take before I am up and running?

On average it takes eight weeks to get a new franchise up and running. During this time you will also meet with the Managing Director to ensure that etyres is right for you, read and sign the contractual agreement and secure funding if needed. The van will also be purchased and liveried, and finally you will undertake a two week training programme, after which you will be fully operational.

How is the territory decided?

Each territory has been mapped out to provide maximise the potential of each Franchise Owner. To ensure this each territory is formed by taking into account population, number of households, travelling distance across the territory and the provision of major road networks.

What do I get for my franchise fee?

The franchise fee includes the five year agreement, access to a successful business model, full training programme, use of the established brand name and associated marketing collateral.

How long is the franchise agreement for?

The franchise agreement term is five years.

Can I renew my franchise agreement?

The franchise agreement is renewable after five years at the discretion of the company. Renewal of the franchise agreement does not incur a fee.

Do I need premises to run the business from?

You do not need any office premises to run the business from. Due to the nature of the business many franchise owners run theirs from home helping to keep their overheads as low as possible. If you do not live central to your territory it can be beneficial to also have a storage unit that is easily accessible to receive deliveries.

Is there an opportunity to grow my business?

etyres welcome growth and push for success in each territory. Over the years we have found that the most successful Franchise Owners have grown through the addition of more vans within their existing territory. The business model encourages Franchise Owners to expand in this way during the first three years of operation.

What is an etyres platinum performer?

etyres Platinum Performers have on average five members of staff, operate four vans with an average turnover of £715,000 and gross profit of £186,000.
